We are continually working on custom designs and projects for our customers, a couple of examples are listed below, and over the years we've designed and made a wide variety of items, particualarly for gardens. Some examples that aren't pictured are bird tables, houses and nesting boxes; kennels; lean-to sheds; tables, benches and picnic tables; high temperature composters; and coal bunkers. Custom Wheelie Bin Store
Extremely functional storage for a large wheelie bin and recycling boxes
We are more than happy to help you create exactly what you are after. In fact our aim is always to exceed expectations, bring ideas to life with a magic that's everlasting. Practical doesn't need to be boring, and this is proven with this unique store designed and made to measure for a customer requiring a wheelie bin store with an integrated, doubly doored compartment for their recycling boxes.
This wheelie bin store was a custom installation in a lovely Southern English Hamlet. Wheelie bin stores are notoriously cheaply made flimsy things. This is beacause; to have a sufficiently accessible opening to wheel a heavy bin in and out, structural integrity can become compromised if extra thought and expertise is not put into strengthening the structure.
In this design, the double doored side, for recycling boxes, was the easy part. We opted for no crossmember on the wheelie bin side to avoid poor ergonomics which necessitated the stiffening of the compartment so that the hinged roof and door would still hang properly, and continue to do so for generations.

Custom Firewood Shed
Extremely Sturdy Storage for a Stock of Firewood
We are more than happy to alter, in this case scale up our standard designs to suit your requirements. Here's one our customised firewood store. The end compartment in this design includes a door for hiding away less aesthetic items.
One of our favourites. This magnificent log store was a custom installation, but shares its design with some of our standard models. Boasting massive volume, while retaining our novel design to maximise air flow through the logs, it also has a separate doored compartment. It now stands proudly, fitting in with the beautiful surrounding Northern views.
Simply Giant Log Store. When Size Does Matter
Here is our longest log store to date, at 24 bays it's simply massive. Here it is doing a remarkably good job of hiding in this beautiful Suffolk garden.

Custom Project: Kennel
Discounted Custom Quotes
Some projects are more complicated than others. In this case, a customer required a kennel for a fairly large dog, made with the trade mark majestic Charmed Wood style and expertise, including an opening roof.
We at Charmed Wood have now added this original design as a standard model. To see this product click here.
When we have the time, we develop promising custom designs in such a way that we can bring the item to market. Market price is much less than custom one-offs. This design process takes longer than just making a bespoke one-off, and bespoke isn't exactly quick. But by developing a new product, we massively discount the quotes on these projects, charging only what we'd expect to be charging if we were making them efficiently every day.
